Hiking to Caney Creek

Since God created nature, I think we should take a walk in it. Plus I love waterfalls and hiking. If you have never been to Caney Creek Falls, be preapred to be amazed. It is an easy hike, an awesome waterfall and a nice little escape from all the technology (yes, you’ll live without a cell phone for a few hours).

World Religions

If you want to be ahead of the game for Wednesday’s class look at the 3 main world religions stemming from Abraham…and we’ll go from there. They are enough to keep us busy until 2011 – trust me!

How to Witness

As you know, we will be covering steps and tips on how to witness to friends and family over the next several classes. It is the most important skill for a Christian to have. It is our call from God in the great commission. I want us to be able to “go forth” with confidence and share the love of Christ. Not to beat them, berate them and shun them – but to share the love God gave to us. We need to be a ray of hope for the hopless. Hope you can join us!

Wow!

Talk about an amazing God! It is simply awe inspiring what can happen when we move out of the way, and let God lead. Sunday was jam packed, as most of them are, but this Sunday was truly a blessing – with our Back 2 School Rally & Drama as well as my first time preaching in front of NPBC. I say we stay on a roll, keep pounding the pavement and prepare our hearts for more of the amazing!

Great Trip!

Thanks again to all who helped pull off an amazing retreat to Gatlinbug, TN. I had a blast and from what I hear, most of you did too! Keep remembering to discover your purpose, your pieces and infuse them all with your prayers!

Restoring The Things of God

Think on this: We as Christians must restore the things of God, before He will/can bless us.

Consider Nehemiah and restoration of the walls of Jerusalem, as well as Elijah and the restoration of the altar of God before the prophets of Baal. These men had to restore the things of God as an act of their dedication to His purpose before God would/could bless them. I pray we are all restored daily!
